Significant Snow Possible

Weather officials are tracking a system expected to bring significant snow to some parts of northwestern Ontario and northeastern Minnesota.

Exactly how much the Borderland region seems to be in question.

The National Weather Service says International Falls could see as much as 7 inches tonight and another 3 tomorrow prompting winter storm warnings there.

Environment Canada predicting Fort Frances to receive as much as 10 centimetres, or 5 inches, over the two days.

Areas to the east of Fort Frances could receive a bit more which has prompted advisories for the Atikokan and Thunder Bay areas
