Hydro Rates Continue To Soar

The Fraser Institute says electricity prices continue to rise in Ontario despite the government’s best efforts to keep them down.

A provincial surcharge, known as the Global Adjustment, is identified as one of the main culprits.

The Fraser Institute says subsidies paid to renewable energy providers also a factor.
