CUPE Ratifies Deal

Education workers represented by the Canadian Union of Public Employees have ratified their central deal with the province.

The union says the deal includes the restoration of $78-million dollars in funding previously cut by the provincial government

It allows for 13-hundred support staff jobs and tens of thousands of service hours for students to be returned.

It also includes one per wage increase for workers.
