A seizure of drugs in Fort Frances has resulted in the arrest of two individuals.
Provincial Police spotted a rental car parked in a parking lot while on routine patrol just before 1 a.m. on June 22.
As officers approached the vehicle, two people fled.
Inside the vehicle, police found about 580 grams of cocaine/crack cocaine, over $19,000, three cell phones, scales and other evidence of drug trafficking.
46-year Diane Smith of Naicatchewenin First Nation and 43-year-old Richard Ronmark of Fort Frances were later arrested.
They now face charges of trafficking and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime over $5,000.
