Work Crews Getting Roads Back pen

Water that covered parts of Front Street has receded.

The removal of concrete barriers has started taking place.

The road, walking paths and docks are still restricted to the public.

Front St., the walking and bike paths, remain closed

The town has not indicated when they may reopen.

Point Park and Seven Oaks are also still closed.

Some roads closed in Koochiching County because of flooding are reopening.

The County says road crews were been able to reopen eight roads on Tuesday.

They include;

  • County Road 135
  • County Road 136
  • Unorganized Township (UT) 225
  • UT 269
  • UT 376
  • UT 408
  • UT 413
  • UT 446

Another road, County Road 112, is scheduled to open late this afternoon.

Three other roads, County Roads 46, 117 and 461, remain closed.
