Darren Lee’s “King & Cash” tribute show comes to Borderland

The music of “The King” and “The Man In Black” is being celebrate in a pair of tribute concerts that are taking place at a couple of our local Legions. First in Fort Frances on April 16th and then on April 17th in Atikokan.

Darren Lee, accompanied by his stage and real life partner Jennifer Rae, will bring the music of Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash to life in a live show that, in my humble opinion, is like watching and hearing the real deal!

Darren is widely recognized for his spot-on vocals, uncanny resemblance, and high-energy stage presence.

He made history in 1997 as the first Canadian to win the “World Elvis Contest” in Memphis, Tennessee, on the 20th anniversary of the King’s passing.

Darren held the record as the longest-running Elvis tribute artist in Las Vegas history, performing for 11 years at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino.

He also starred in his own “Burnin’ Love” show in Maui.

Here’s video proof of just how AWESOME Darren is as the King…

Darren was kind enough to give us a few moments of his time ahead of his shows here in the Borderland.
