Gary Tom has been elected as chief of the Naotkamegwanning First Nation (Whitefish Bay).
Tom beat out five other people for the top job in the community.
Also elected are Willow Crow and Kelvin Joseph.
The only councilor that was re-elected is Linda Namaypoke.
Tom was also elected to be one of the band councilors.
Naotkamegwanning First Nation is located just north of Sioux Narrows.
