Winter Storm Warning – April 5th 2023

A winter storm warning is in effect for most of our listening area.

Some spots could see up to 30 centimetres (12 inches) of snow by Thursday morning.

The snow may be mixed with ice pellets or freezing rain at times, potentially lowering snowfall amounts.

Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult.

Highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate.

Strong winds will likely mean blowing snow in some areas, leading to reduced visibility.

Take extra care when walking or driving in affected areas.
