West Red Lake Releases Technical Study

West Red Lake Gold Mines estimates almost 900 thousand ounces of gold may be available from two adjacent properties it has been exploring near Red Lake.

The estimates are contained in a technical report done by independent geologists for the company on its Mount Jamie Mine and Rowan Mine project sites.

More than 35 thousand ounces of known gold resource, with another 17 thousand estimated at the Mount Jamie Mine site.

Over 800 thousand ounces of gold are projected at the Rowan Mine area.

Both had mine shafts in place in the 1930s, but little mining took place.

The report recommends further exploration but also doing further studies to identify the potential of an underground mine.
