Wednesday Is Bell Let’s Talk Day

Mental health will be on the minds of many today for the 11th annual Bell Let’s Talk Day.

The campaign aims to raise awareness, acceptance and action in mental health.

Officials say the focus this year is encouraging Canadians to support themselves and each other.

Bell will donate five cents to Canadian mental health programs for every applicable text, local or long-distance call today.

Donations will also be made for every tweet or TikTok video using #BellLetsTalk, every social media view of their Bell Let’s Talk Day video and every use of their Facebook frame or Snapchat filter.

The telecommunications company says it has committed more than $121 million to mental health programs since 2011.
