Waterfront work planned in Fort Frances

Fort Frances is submitting an application to the Northern Ontario Heritage Fund for work at the waterfront.

Plans call for replacing light poles, dock repairs and timber replacement.

The estimated price tag is $166 thousand.

The project is listed in this year’s capital budget but dependent upon the town receiving government funding.

The town is banking on provincial funding to cover 75 percent.
