Trudeau Condemns Sri Lanka Attacks

Justin Trudeau is speaking out against attacks on churches and hotels in Sri Lanka.

In a statement, the Prime Minister says he was shocked and saddened by the terrorists attacks that killed more than 200 people and injured hundreds more.

He emphasizes the attacks are especially devastating because they targeted Christians at prayer on Easter Sunday.

He says there are no reports of any Canadians being affected, adding Canada stands with Sri Lanka.

U.S. President Donald Trump is tweeting that America is also ready to help, and offers its condolences to Sri Lanka.
