Traffic stop results in 4 arrested

Provincial police have discovered quantities of illegal drugs after pulling over a vehicle in Fort Frances.

After stopping the vehicle, OPP say a man was first identified as having breached previous court conditions.

This led to a further search of the vehicle where officers discovered 24 grams of cocaine, 5 grams of methamphetamine and 13 grams of fentanyl.

Approximately $3300.00 in Canadian cash was also found.

Two men, a 33-year-old from Big Grassy First Nation and a 54-year-old from Fort Frances, and two women, a 30-year-old from Fort Frances and a 23-year-old from Couchiching First Nation were taken into custody on drug-trafficking charges.

The man was Big Grassy and the woman from Couchiching remain in custody.
