Town Facilities To Be Shuttered During Lockdown

The town of Fort Frances letting you know what facilities will be impacted by the provincewide shutdown.

The Memorial Sports Centre, including the arena, fitness centre, pool and auditorium, will be closed.

All scheduled activities will be cancelled.

The East End Hall will also shutdown, though its outdoor is open. The outdoor rink in the west end of town is also open.

The Sister Kennedy Senior Centre and Fort Frances Museum will remain closed. They haven’t opened since the start of the pandemic.

The Civic Centre remains restricted to the public. You can still make payments using the drop box or through your financial institution.

Fort Frances Public Library and Technology Centre won’t be open either during the province-wide shutdown.

It will be closed beginning Christmas Day, resuming services on Monday, January 11.
