Tour De Fort brings the soulful music of Sandra Bouza to town

Tour De Fort continues to bring word class live music to our community. They are hosting Sandra Bouza, who will be giving a concert at the Townshend Theatre in Fort Frances, on Monday, April 27th.

Sandra is an award-winning Canadian singer-songwriter who is known for her powerful, soulful voice and her raw storytelling. Sandra’s music her blends elements of R&B, blues, and folk all together into one incredible sound.

Sandra was born in Toronto, and she spent her childhood going back and forth between Canada and Spain. Her musical career has been shaped by diverse international experience, including a three-year journey of performing in Europe and North and West Africa.

An internationally shaped life and artistry…

Sandra has released an EP called “Three Years” and two full length albums, which are titled “Falling Away From Me” and “A Sound In The Dark”.

Sandra is a Toronto Blues Society Talent Search winner and an International Blues Challenge semi-finalist. The later competition is held annually in Memphis, Tennessee. Her music has also earned Canadian Folk Music Award and Maple Blues Award nominations.
