Major Storm Hits Nestor Falls.

Some are calling it a tornado in Nestor Falls.

Several trees are down because of the storm that passed by that area at around midnight.

Several of them came down in Caliper Lake Provincial Park, falling on campers and vehicles and the park’s road.

No injuries were reported.

The park has since been evacuated while the damage is assessed.

OPP are recommending that travel in the Nestor Falls be limited because of the number of trees and wires down.

About 300 Hydro One customers are still without power.

It is part of an outage that stretches from Sioux Narrows south to Finland on Highway 71.
