Still More Work Ahead

It will be at least another two weeks before the traffic lights at the Mill Road overpass are removed.

The lights are up as crew install expansion joints at the bridge.

The town’s Operations and Facilities Manger Travis Rob says the joints are in place on the west side of the bridge.

Crews are now shifting over to the east side.

Paving is also taking place this week.

Meantime, motorists being asked to have patience with the lights.

There have been reports of some failing to stop.

Mayor June Caul says the OPP have caught some drivers and issued fines.
