Splash Park Project Finishes First

The proposed splash park for Fort Frances has finished first in voting in the Tbaytel for Good Community Fund contest.

It ended with over 160 thousand votes.

That was almost 50 thousand more than the project with the second most.

The Nestor Falls Rec Committee was farther back, earning more than 15 hundred votes.

It was seeking funding for a variety of children’s programming, avoiding the need to turn to its business community that was hard hit by flooding and a significant summer storm.

The results are still unofficial.

Tbaytel will announce the winners of the three grand prizes of $10 thousand in the very near future.
