Some Head Home, Others Suggested To Leave

Hundreds of evacuees that had been staying in Thunder Bay because of the forest fires will be flying home this week.

Residents of Poplar Hill started leaving the city yesterday.

Residents of Deer Lake will begin leaving later in the week.

A voluntary evacuation of the Wabaseemoong First Nation near Kenora because of a threatening forest fire.

A flight will be going to London, Ontario today

Residents are also being given the option of going to the Rat Portage First Nation. this week.K

Currently, there are still 114 active fires in the northwest.
