Sally Ann Adds Option To Give Online

You don’t have to have cash on you this holiday season to donate to the annual Salvation Army Christmas Kettle campaign.

Auxiliary-Captain Aurthur Heathcote says that while you can still put your bills, cheques and change into the physical kettles throughout Fort Frances, there’s now an option for you to give online.

He tells us that you can donate to the Fort Frances Virtual Kettle here, or by visiting FillTheKettle.com.

If you chose to make a donation online, you’ll automatically be provided with a tax receipt (for donations $20 and over).

All money donated to the Fort Frances Christmas Kettles, whether in-person or online, stays local and goes to support the work of The Salvation Army in the Fort Frances area.

Auxiliary-Captain Heathcote adds that if you aren’t able to donate but still want to give back, you can volunteer a few hours of your time to stand at one of the physical Christmas Kettle locations. If you’re interested in volunteering, you can call 1 (807) 271-2429.

The physical kettles will be out throughout the week at Walmart, The Place and Safeway.
