RIDE Stop Leads to Impaired Driving Charge

OPP have charged a Fort Frances man with impaired driving.

It came during a RIDE check in Mine Centre last Sunday around midnight.

During the stop, officers noticed cannabis in proximity to the driver.

The 40-year-old was taken into custody and formally charged at the detachment in Atikokan.

He was later released and will now appear in court in February.
