Ride Safe

Ontario Provincial Police advising all-terrain-vehicle owners to ride safe when out on the trails and in the bush this fall.

Police says there have already been 20 fatalities involving off-road vehicles this year.

There were 17 for the entire year in 2018.

Alcohol and drugs contributed to eight of this year’s deaths.

More than half of the victims were not wearing a helmet at the time.
