Restaurants/Bars Getting Regulatory Break

Any restaurant or bar in Ontario with a patio is being allowed to make that space larger.

It’s to allow them to meet physical distancing requirements.

The Alcohol and Gaming Commission says it won’t ask owners to apply for a licence change or pay a fee.

This still stay in place until the end of the year.

They will still have to meet any municipal approvals or requirements.
