The province is investigating an accident at Resolute Forest Products’ Thunder Bay Paper mill that sent one worker to the hospital.
A spokesperson for the Ministry of Labour, Training and Skills Development says they got word of a “non-critical” injury at the facility that happened on July 31st.
Workers were moving a large transformer when it tipped over, partially catching one employee.
An inspector has already visited the plant, and issued one order related to the complaint. The ministry continues to look into the incident.
