Today is Remembrance Day – a day to show respect and gratitude to those who sacrificed for our country and those still serve in our military.
Ceremonies are planned across the district starting at 9:45 a.m. at Rainy River Legion.
Atikokan Legion will hold a ceremony at its O’Brien Street location at 10:30 a.m.
Ceremonies are also planned at the Emo Legion at 10:45 a.m. and the Fort Frances Cemetary at 11 a.m.
Rainy River First Nation will end the day with a ceremony at its cenotaph at 1:30 p.m.
