A pep talk of sorts from the prime minister as COVID-19 continues its second wave.
Justin Trudeau says he knows pandemic fatigue is weighing on many of us, but his message is to hang tough.
The prime minister admits the global pandemic “really sucks.”
“This sucks. It really, really does, but we’re going to get through it by doing what Canadians always do. By pulling together, by working hard and by knowing the better days are coming,” says Trudeau.
Trudeau adds with vaccines on the horizon, spring and summer will be better.
He does warn, however, unless we’re really careful “there may not be the kinds of family gatherings we want to have at Christmas.”
