Pride organizations in northwestern Ontario have some questions for the region’s federal election candidates.
Borderland Pride, Rainbow Collective of Thunder Bay, and Rainbow Alliance Dryden have joined to create a questionnaire being distributed to candidates who are running in the ridings of Thunder Bay-Rainy River, Thunder Bay-Superior North, and Kenora.
The questions focus on issues of interest to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Topics range from the failed bill to ban conversion therapy, transgender rights, to a blood donation ban targeted at gay, bi and trans men.
Candidates have until September 10th to answer, and their responses will be made public soon after.
