Some residents in the west end of the Rainy River District should prepare to be without the lights for a lengthy period later this month.
Hydro One will be cutting power for six hours on April 23, impacting about 760 customers in Lake of the Woods township, Morson, and Big Island and Big Grassy First Nations.
The outage will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 3 p.m.
Crews will be installing new equipment.
Hydro One says all customers impacted have been contacted.
