Thunder Bay Police are looking into a report of a possible shooting in the 200-block of Cumming Street.
Police were dispatched to the area at around 5 p.m. today following reports of the shooting and an injured man.
Police found the man, who was transported to Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for treatment.
His condition remains unknown at this time.
Police are asking the public to avoid the area between May and McKenzie Streets until further notice.
