Poll Sees Need For More Housing

A new poll suggests the provincial and municipal governments need to do more to resolve the housing shortage in Ontario.

The study by Mainstreet Research finds 74 per cent of respondents feel more houses need to be constructed.

Just under two-thirds of them see governments in a position to make that happen.

Sixty-eight per cent also feel communities need to accept new and different housing options.
