The Transportation Safety Board is deploying a team of investigators to the site of a downed aircraft in the area of Domain Lake, west of Red Lake.
Provincial Police were notified of the incident around just before 10 a.m. Wednesday.
The pilot and a passenger in the small aircraft were both killed.
No other details have been provided at this time.
