Over 4,400 New Cases Province-Wide

The province is seeing a big jump in COVID-19 cases, confirming 4,456 new positive tests.

Over three-quarters of those are in hot spots in southern Ontario.
Meantime, after two straight days of 12 COVID reports, the Northwestern Health Unit is reporting a quiet Sunday.

There was only one new positive test result. That comes from the Sioux Lookout Health Hub.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit announced Saturday it would stop releasing COVID-19 updates on Sundays.

In Minnesota, there are five new cases in Koochiching County with another probable one.

As the vaccine rollout continues, Health Minister Christine Elliott says Ontario has administered over three million doses.
