Provincial Police have charged a man with homicide in the death of a 27-year-old Whitesand First Nation man.
They were called to the community of Mud River east of Armstrong on Thursday for a report of an assault.
When they arrived, paramedics pronounced Lance Wanakamik dead at the scene.
Officers arrested 50-year-old Stanford Kokokons, also of Whitesand First Nation.
They’ve laid a charge of second-degree murder.
