The provincial government says Liam and Olivia have been the most most popular names parents have given newborn babies in Ontario.
The government says over the last year the top five boys names were Liam, Noah, Lucas, William and Benjamin.
For the girls, Olivia topped the list followed by Emma, Charlotte, Amelia and Ava.
Incidentally, Olivia has topped the girl’s list in nine of the last ten years.
From January 2010 to December 2018, there were over 8,300 girls born in Ontario named Olivia.
