OECTA votes in favour of strike action

Another teachers union has voted overwhelmingly of a strike to back their contract demands.

Ontario English Catholic Teachers Association members voted 97 percent in favour.

The votes were cast over the past two days.

Teachers have been without a contract since last September.

Yesterday, the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario voted 95 percent in favor of strike action.
