NWHU Adds Two New COVID Cases

The Northwestern Health Unit is reporting two new cases of COVID-19 Wednesday.

Both come from the District of Rainy River.

With the new positive test results, there are now 5 active cases in the health unit’s catchment area.

Two in the Sioux Lookout region and one in the Dryden/Red Lake region.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit also adds two new cases today making their active count 10.

In Ontario, there are 656 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed with 504 of those not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.

163 people are in ICU with 151 not fully vaccinated or have an unknown vaccination status.
