NWHU Adds Nine New Cases

Nine new confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus are being reported Monday afternoon by the Northwestern Health Unit.

Two of those cases are in the Emo area.

The others scattered within the Dryden (3), Kenora (2) and Sioux Lookout (2) regions.

There’s also been another death within the Health Unit region since Friday.

No further information is being released.

There are now 47 active cases within the Northwestern Health Unit area.

In northern Minnesota, there were six new cases and one probable one in Koochiching County.

Three more occurred in nearby Lake of the Woods County.
