The search for gold in the Rainy River district continues in 2020.
Nuinsco Resources is off the mark with an announcement of plans to conduct drilling on its Sunbeam Gold Property, located about 30 kilometres northeast of Atikokan.
There was a gold mine in that area in 1905 but no further exploration was done before Nuinsco acquiring the site in 2017.
The company says drilling will begin as soon as it can.
