Northern Lights Gone Wild

These photos were submitted by Keith Soderbeck.

He says…

“I was up in Tok, Alaska buying a log home nestled deep in the Alaskan forest near the Tanana River, and at the base foothill of Mount Kimball. I am preparing to move there. While I was there, I had a experience which not even Alaskans usually see! Early one morning, at around 2:30am, I looked out the cabin window and saw the skies start to glow a bright green! I hustled outside with my Nikon D7500 and tripod. The Aurora went over my head like a snake moving slowly from the north to the southern horizon. Then at 4:15am the sky went crazy! Two spinning vortex’s spinning at the same time with pillars of green, yellow, white, pink, and violet. It was so bright!”
