A new provincial cabinet has been sworn in.
The ceremony took place on the lawn in front of Queen’s Park this morning.
Sylvia Jones becomes the new Health Minister and Deputy Premier.
Otherwise not a lot of change in the cabinet as Steve Clark remains the Minister of Housing and Municipal Affairs,
Monte McNaughton the Minister of Labor, Train and Skills Development, Steven Lecce the Education Minister and Todd Smith the Minister of Energy.
Kenora-Rainy River MPP Greg Rickford has had his responsibilities scaled back.
He now becomes the Minister of Northern Development and Minister of Indigenous Affairs.
Peter Bethanfelvy was sworn in again as the Minister of Finance, Todd Smith remains the Minister of Energy, Caroline Mulroney as Minister of Transportation and Vic Fedeli the Minister of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade.
There is one new face as Neil Lumsden becomes the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport.
Lumsden was a former fullback for the Hamilton Tiger Cats, Toronto Argos and Edmonton Eskimos from 1976 to 1985.
