Fort Frances town council is expected tonight to select new names for Colonization Road East and West.
They have a choice of five names shortlisted by a town committee for the East road and four for the West.
A second unofficial online survey by Councillor Doug Judson found 41 per cent public support for Agamiing, Objibwe for at the shore, for the East.
Nibi, meaning water, was a close second at 37 per cent.
Sunset was the strong choice among respondents for the West.
A total of 350 responded to Judson’s survey.
