New Gold is delaying the release of a comprehensive mine optimization study for its Rainy River mine.
The study includes a review of alternative open pit and underground mining operations with the aim of reducing costs.
The company was looking at presenting it to investors before the end of the year.
It’s now promising to have it out early in 2020 but no later than mid-February.
