New Case Reported In Rainy River District

Northwestern Health Unit is identifying a new case of COVID1-9 in the Rainy River district.

The exact location is not immediately revealed.

There were also twenty-four more cases and seven probable ones in the Kenora region.

That’s one top of 26 others in that area reported on Friday and Saturday.

Provincial data shows 112 cases are active across the Health Unit’s catchment area, many connected to the outbreak at Wabaseemoong First Nation, where vaccine has now arrived.

The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has 229 active cases, several impacting schools.

In Minnesota, Koochiching County reports one new case yesterday.
