Some new specialized beds for Riverside Health Care’s Emo Health Centre.
Donations from the Emo and District Hospital Auxiliary to the Riverside Foundation for Health Care allowed Riverside to acquire the beds which are designed to prevent a patient from falling out.
The beds are valued at $12.500 each.
One of the beds was funded through various Auxiliary events, raffles and donations.
The other was made possible through a donation from Emo resident Gord Woollard.
His wife has been a resident of the hospital’s Long Term Care wing for the past three years.
