Navigational Markers Back On Park Waters

The buoys are back at Voyageurs National Park.

The park staff have completed their placement on Rainy, Kabetogama, Namakan, and Sand Point Lakes within park boundaries.

Lamplighters from the United States Coast Guard have also placed navigational aids at Rainy, Kabetogama, Namakan, and Sand Point.

With low water levels, the parks warning boaters to use caution.

Those levels may expose unmarked hazards not normally seen during high-water periods.
