Muskies Golfers Win in Kenora

The Fort Frances Muskies golf teams opened their fall season on winning notes.

Maverick Morrisseau was first in the boys’ division after shooting a round of 84 at the Kenora Golf and Country Club.

The Muskies B squad was first in the team standings with a combined 346, six strokes better than runners-up St. Thomas Aquinas from Kenora.

The Muskies A team was third.

It was a Muskies sweep in the girls’ division with Logan McPherson finishing first.

Teammates Marlee Bliss was second, with Ella Evans in third.

The Muskies next head to Sioux Lookout on September 22.
