Museum Fees To Double

The cost to visit the Fort Frances Museum this summer is going up.

The museum will showcase an exhibit related to the 2017 discovery of Sir John Franklin’s ship, the HMS Terror, in the Canadian Arctic.

Town council Monday night agreed to double existing visitor fees to see the exhibit as a way of offsetting the cost to bring the exhibit to Fort Frances.

It will be on display from June 29 and September 22.

The fees will return to normal after the exhibit leaves.
