More Infrastructure Funding For District

More projects are being nominated by the provincial government for a federal match dollars under a new infrastructure program.

The province is committing $400-thousand to four projects including culvert upgrades within Chapple township and Rainy River First Nation.

The federal match would come through the Rural and Northern stream of the Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program.

If approved by the federal government, the projects would be eligible for total funding of more than $2.5-million dollars.
