More Funding For New Cultural Centre

More federal funding for Seine River First Nation and its construction of a new cultural centre.

Fednor is kicking in over $812-thousand toward the costs.

Last week, the community received $700-thousand from the federal government through its Canada Cultural Spaces Fund.

A second Fednor Grant of $373-thousand will go towards fixing up the community’s fishing camp.

The work includes improves to the electrical system, cabins and a dock and upgrades to the potable water and wastewater treatment system.
