More reopening of areas in Fort Frances closed because of the high water and flooding.
The town has reopened its gas docks at the Sorting Gap Marina and the dock on Agamiing Drive across from Rainy Lake Sports.
Several other areas remain closed as the town continues the clean-up and assesses them for any damage.
The following areas are open to pedestrian and vehicular traffic:
1. Front Street (Mosher Avenue to Minnie Avenue)
2. Front Street walking path
3. Front Street bike path
4. Front Street Fitness Equipment
5. Sorting Gap Marina
6. Sorting Gap Gas Docks
7. Rainy Lake Sports Dock
8. Point Park (open to pedestrian traffic only)
9. Point Park Tenting Area (open to pedestrian traffic only)
Areas still closed are:
1. Front Street (Williams Avenue to Minnie Avenue; Mosher Avenue to Armit Avenue)
2. Sorting Gap Playground
3. Lookout Tower
4. The Hallet
5. River Front Docks
6. Point Park (closed to vehicular traffic only)
7. Point Park Beaches
8. Point Park Playground
9. Point Park Ball Diamond
10. Seven Oaks
